Who needs fencing in Germiston
Germiston has a dense industrial base around Wadeville, Elandsfontein and Germiston South, plus a major railway junction. Steel merchants, engineering works and depots secure their yards with palisade, razor wire and electric fencing, since cable and metal theft is a constant concern. Rail and municipal sites need long perimeter runs. Homes in Primrose, Elspark and nearby Alberton buy palisade fronts and sliding gates, while schools and sports clubs fence playing fields with diamond mesh or palisade.
Typical PVC coated diamond mesh requests in the area come from:
- Industrial: factories fence office frontages and visitor parking in coloured mesh
- Logistics: depots fence front offices and visitor areas
- Utilities: utilities fence coastal sites where salty air attacks bare steel
- Homes: homeowners fence gardens and side boundaries with green mesh that blends into plants
- Schools: schools fence playgrounds, front boundaries and sports fields in green
- Municipal: municipalities fence parks, playgrounds and cemeteries
